Can you grow daffodils under led lights?

Short answer is yes, you can grow daffodils under LED lights. LED lights are the perfect lighting for cultivation. They are at least as effective as fluorescent lamps. Because they produce so little heat, they can be much closer to plants than other light sources.

The best news is that LED lighting can save a lot of electricity and money over the lifetime of the bulb.

What distance LED light should be from flowers?

It well depends from type of LED light, number of lights, intensity and stage the plant currently is in. You will have to adjust distance according to size of daffodil (how tall it is).

Rule of thumb is to keep it 12 to 30 inches above the top of plant. However if you see burn marks on your flower, move your LED further away. On another hand if your narcissus is not growing fast enough try to put light closer.

As a good practice check your flowers everyday for signs of trouble, so you can react as soon as possible.
